Während des Bürgerkriegs brauchte Lincoln Geld, um die Gewerkschaft zu finanzieren. Anstatt Kredite von europäischen Banken in London und Paris (im Besitz der Rothschilds Banking -Familie) zu sehr hohen Zinssätzen zu akzeptieren und das Land für ausländische Banker in hohe Schulden zu bringen, ermächtigte Lincoln die Regierung, ein eigenes Papiergeld zu drucken, das genannt wurde "Greenbacks". Greenbacks waren zinsfreie Regierung, die nicht von Gold gesichert oder von Privatbanken kontrolliert wurden.
Durch die Ausgabe von Greenbacks vermied Lincoln die Kredite von den in Rothschilds besaß europäischen Bankenhäusern und kostete ihnen Geldladungen.
Es ist erwähnenswert, dass die Familie Rothschilds Banking tatsächlich beide Seiten des Krieges finanziert hat. Das Hauptinteresse der British Rothschilds war der Schutz der britischen Textilmühlen, die von der südlichen Baumwolle abhing. Aus diesem Grund waren viele britische finanzielle und politische Eliten mit der Konföderation sympathisch, so dass die Baumwollexporte fortgesetzt würden.
Paris Rothschilds half bei der Finanzierung der US -Regierung und beugte sich mehr in Richtung Norden, wobei die Gewerkschaft als stärkerer langfristiger Schuldner und Geschäftspartner betrachtete.

also just want to point out that Abraham Lincoln is not the only president to be assassinated for coming up with a constitutional treasury-backed note.
