      Intervention was the hallmark of the neocon ideology and the George Bush administration and his administration was so bad that everything around it became kinda toxic. The one big reason for Trump winning the 2016 primary was that he separated himself from the rest of field by talking like a decidabley isolationist politician.

      Obama being elected President twice has had utterly horrible results world wide. The [Russian Reset](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_reset) right after Russia invaded Georgia tells you all you need to know about how badly Obama handled foreign policy (basically all of his staff thought it was a bad idea, but Obama was, in his words, „the smartest person in the room“).       Obama was so arrogant that if reality disagreed with his theories, as far as he was concerned, *reality was wrong*, not him.
