Interesting study. The cardiovascular benefits from reduced particulate exposure make sense given how traffic related air pollution impacts endothelial function and blood pressure. What I would like to see next is a longer follow up period to determine whether these blood pressure changes actually translate into reduced incidence of cardiovascular events. Also curious whether the effectiveness holds up in households with frequent door and window openings since infiltration rates would vary a lot.
I wonder how much of this is related to things like micro plastics from carpets and clothing, and maybe cooking and possibly even street particulates
