Not an expert but if India stops buying Russian Oil today won’t it crash the market price ???

I am so glad that India is hitting back instead of getting bullied and stroking that manchild’s ego. This might be the beginning of the end of the unipolar US-dominated world order.

Donald ‚Pedo‘ Trump seems to have changed his slogan to ‚Make America Regret Again‘. He will make massive profits but it is the ordinary American who will have to bear the burden.

China tariff is 37% and India is at 50% how does that even make any sense? Like was not the entire Shtick of Trump to be tough on China

Another act that drives an ally even closer to Russia. No one sees the pattern???

India should throw in “PS: Release epstein files”
at end of their official statements about US.

The U.S. continues to import palladium, nickel, uranium, and certain fertilizers from Russia. So this appears to be primarily a strategy to encourage India to purchase oil from America despite having previously advised India to buy from Russia.

      > In a 2024 conference, Eric Garcetti, the U.S. Ambassador to India at the time, remarked that the U.S. had encouraged India to buy Russian oil at a capped price to stabilize global markets. He indicated that India’s actions aligned with U.S. policy goals.

he literally knocked the only player who was standing between BRICS and de-dollaraisation. Kudos to trump for bringing BRICS together. I guess we all can agree he deserves a Nobel price for market manipulation and possibly the worst case would be a man-made recession in the US. When the US sneezes the whole world will catch cold. Let’s wait and see how they fumble this one

There is a method to this „Madness“

Trump wants India to stop buying oil from Russia so that Oil prices will skyrocket.

India will be forced to purchase oil at a higher cost from Gulf which will tremendously increase revenue of gulf nations because of increased prices and guess what where have the Gulf pledged to invest Trillions of dollars and purchase Billion dollars of weapons ? “ AMERICA “

Basically The Gulf nations who pledged Donald Trump recently to invest Trillion dollars in US and also purchase Billion dollars of Weapons are going to be paid by Indians in the form of increase cost of Oil.

India’s paying more for Oil will eventually go to American Economy.

Reality is India’s simply too poor as a nation to afford to properly buy fuel, hence why they rely on Russia.

I guess Modi found out that he should not have had a bromance with Trump.

They were supporting each other in rallies, etc. Hope it was worth it to modi.

Sure. Both china and India are big competitors as producers, and not as consumers. So feel free to build closer collaboration with China, knowing that it is, in the long run, every intention of the west, and not just the US, to curb China’s growth. And India is saying „yeah let me stand closer to them to get shot at“. Really ??? You’ll have twice as many of production power, but even less markets

Apart from catering nationalistic sentiments of the Indian people, this emotional reaponse from the government is not for the benefits of the Indian citizens, their livelihoods, and the economy.

This seriously makes me laugh out loud. Most of the Indians cheered for Trump when he won. Many within my own network said DNC can suck it because Trump is the man. This couldn’t have happened to a more deserving group of people. India is becoming great again, one tariff at a time! Lungi dance!!!

Russian imported crude is used by Reliance to export the refined products, keeping profits to themselves. Petrol prices in India are still derived by oil from the middle east and stayed high regardless of “cheap oil” from Russia. When would Indians stop supporting the Oligarchs?

    22. Hopeful_Tap9622 on

I think I would also support the idea of tariffs and high-taxes on American tie-ups with India so that offshoring nonsense of US jobs will stop once and for all. India should go back to their deep roots with Russia. We actually have enough talent in America.

    23. Modi deepthroated Trump in India and in the US, and this is what he got in return.

    24. Sir_Cock_Lork on

Correct me If I am wrong. Pharma, tech and service are exempt from the tariffs right? And aren’t majority of exports coming from India falling under these categories? Is he only doing this just for the sake of showing the people that he’s doing something for the country? I am confused.

just read anand mahindra’s suggestion on how to deal with it i think india must work on them on priority basis.

as a matter of fact, India sud take action against US tech giants as such as ED raids ,penalise them ,or etc, as an indication to USA… moreover ,get more closer to BRICS nations and and ASEANs, and increase workk on de-dollarisation ….
if pm modi travels to china or russia he also put on a video just like australian PM did on his china visit …

india sud explor these kindof to options bcz india wont be able to fight trade war with USA like china did
