He had a cardiac ablation which is a pretty simple procedure but he went into Afib which is scary as hell. Hopefully he’s alright
>Academy Award-winning director Francis Ford Coppola was rushed to the hospital in Italy on Tuesday, according to the country’s ANSA news agency.
>According to Italian press, he was scheduled for a cardiac ablation at the Tor Vergata Polyclinic, a procedure used to treat certain arrhythmias. Upon arrival, however, he was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation, an irregular, often rapid heart rhythm.
>Coppola, 86, who has won five Oscars throughout his career, had been at the Magna Grecia Festival in Calabria in mid-July to present his latest film, Megalopolis. He also scouted locations for a film set to begin production this fall.
Why’d they have to go all the way to Italy???
