President Donald Trump’s lawsuit against Rupert Murdoch has reportedly taken a further twist after the pair agreed that the media mogul could delay his deposition until after a dismissal ruling.

Newsweek has contacted the White House and Dow Jones for comment via email outside regular working hours.

Josh Gerstein, Politico’s senior legal affairs reporter, broke the news of the delayed deposition late on Monday, sharing on X a link to a newly-filed legal document related to the case.

In just the past two months, the idiot in the White House has: bombed Iran (briefly), made peace with the Houthis (after provoking them), slapped tariffs on Canada, threw himself a birthday parade while millions protested, fired the jobs chief over bad numbers, revived the school fitness test no one missed, sold VIP access through his PAC, lectured South Africa on racism, tweeted about nukes near Russia, and handed Putin yet another empty deadline.

And all we want are the files.

      From the article:

      >In the filing, Trump’s legal team requested regular updates from Murdoch about his „current health condition“ in case of any changes that would necessitate an earlier deposition.

Apparently, Trump’s lawyers have pervasive denialism about their Pedo-in-Chief’s current health condition.

Trump has spent decades using lawsuits to attack and silence others. I think someone on his team used lots of small words and pictures to show that this lawsuit would require a lot of bad things about him to become public and finally got him to back down

    5. > The document also said Murdoch had „agreed to provide regularly scheduled updates to the Plaintiff regarding his health“ and that failure to do so would result in an expedited deposition.

Was this lawsuit just a bid to get constant updates on RM’s health so that Trump can be prepared when he dies and the Fox empire flips upside down?

For more on this spicy subject check Fortune’s article [When Rupert Murdoch dies, it could plunge the Fox and News Corp empire into civil war](https://fortune.com/2025/08/03/when-rupert-murdoch-dies-it-could-plunge-the-fox-and-news-corp-empire-into-civil-war/):

      > In late 2023, Murdoch attempted to alter the trust to grant sole posthumous control to his eldest son, Lachlan, allowing him to take over the family business entirely. This move was legally contested by the other three children, who argued it violated the original mandate of equal control. **A Nevada probate court ruled in December 2024 against Rupert’s attempt, but the mogul’s legal team has since filed an appeal.**

      LOL.

Trump is doing anything to distract us from Epstein scandal.

Deposition would keep the fire burning.

    7. There’s this thing called discovery that trump is scared shitless over. Who am I kidding, he shits his diaper all the time.

Let the meaning of this sink in. Number one: he doesn’t want discovery. Number two: Murdoch knows he can tell the President of the United States to fuck off. While every major company and political party continues to try to play nice with him or outright pay him bribes, Murdoch said “fuck off…or else” and the President of the United States backed down.

Trump is the weakest man I‘ve ever had the misfortune of knowing. And the American system is so rotten and broken that I honestly don’t know if it’s worth saving without radical change.

Trump couldn’t make himself look more guilty of raping kids if he tried. Every single action this man makes screams „I’m guilty! I fucked kids!“

It is TACO Tuesday but also everyone can go read Katy Johnson’s sworn testimony were she says that trump raped her when she was 14 .

    11. It’s been just enough time where his base thinks he fought back and is innocent.

      I’m an outsider but:
The (fake) Musk falling-out, the Epstein files, and whatever social scandal that grabs peoples attention next, seem like distractions.
It feels like Junk is successfully re-directing your attention away from the complete dismantling of American democratic institutions, financial oversight and political freedom. It’s like the US is becoming a police state, while it’s people are eating popcorn and drooling over a tit ’n‘ bum show. But what do I know.

The Plaintiff, KJ, alleges she was enticed by promises of money and a modeling career to attend a series of underage sex parties held at the New York City residence of Defendant Jeffrey E. Epstein and attended by Defendant Donald J. Trump.

      9. On the first occasion involving the Defendant, Donald J. Trump, the Plaintiff, KJ, was forced to manually stimulate Defendant Trump with the use of her hand upon Defendant Trump’s erect penis until he reached sexual orgasm.

      10. On the second occasion involving the Defendant, Donald J. Trump, the Plaintiff, KJ, was forced to orally copulate Defendant Trump by placing her mouth upon Defendant Trump’s erect penis until he reached sexual orgasm.

    15. I await the day when he is no longer able to influence my life or that of anyone else.

The world is worse off because he is still alive.

It’s the same reason Trump didn’t sue Elon for saying he was in the Epstein files. DISCOVERY
