      Named and shamed should be the new tarred and feathered. Their stupidity has endangered society and they should be ostracized for it. Should they continue practicing these ill conceived homeopathic bs, do it in a rural community where you don’t have to interact with others. They are contagious and patient zeros for this epidemic.

      I know a lot of the articles leave it out to avoid discrimination but a lot of the commenters in here definitely miss out on a key point of info.

      Almost all of the cases (something like 85-90%) are in big Hutterite and Mennonite colonies in Alberta and Ontario, I know just to the southwest of me in Alberta is like ground zero for one of the biggest outbreaks and it’s a huge colony.

      I think people who have not had the measles vaccine should not be allowed anywhere where newborn babies are. As someone trying to start a family this is terrifying.

      Bonus: Alberta is going to start charging residents for COVID vaccines, which is going to further reduce uptake of the vaccine. Between the worsening measles outbreak and what will likely be an increase in COVID infections as we enter the fall and winter months, Alberta’s about to become known as the pestilence province.

      There are definitely people who are more directly responsible (people who believe and push misinformation) but this is everybody’s fault in some ways or another. We really couldn’t stop misinformation from 1 fucking fraudulent study from mindbreaking so many people? Pathetic and everybody top to bottom should be ashamed.
