Ich habe dieses Bild von dem gemacht, was ich zu 90% sicher ist, Piran. Kann jemand bitte identifizieren, was das weiße Burg/Palast/Würfel am Horizont darüber hervorsteht?
this year i feel like the air has been way dirtier? than usual. i often hike and the views are really foggy compared to what i’d expect them to be.
Like from Ljubljana i vividly remember seeing the Kamnik-Savinja Alps daily when i was commuting to uni, but now you can barely see them, it’s all fog
could be the high summer temeratures resulting in more moisture in the air, but i dont remember it ever geing like this.
i’m not a geoguessr wizard, so i cant help you with identifying Piran, but a couple years back i was at a ski resort in the alps and the shore and sea was visible from the top of the mountain, so it’s entirely possible that what you got is Piran

At first glance i thought it was low res Venus.
Looks a bit like [Vejna (Monte Grisa) church](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/75/Riflessi_del_tramonto.JPG) but that should be *in front of* Piran if observed from the Julian Alps. Where exactly did you take the photo from?
