
Ich habe meine Bildschirmzeit und meine Schlafstunden für eine Woche verfolgt, um zu sehen, ob eine Verbindung herrschte. Überraschenderweise waren die Tage, an denen ich mehr Zeit auf Bildschirmen verbrachte, oft die gleichen Tage, an denen ich mehr Schlaf bekam, besonders am Wochenende.
Ich erwartete das Gegenteil. Ich dachte, die Bildschirmzeit würde in meinen Schlaf einschneiden, aber das wahre Muster scheint zu sein, dass ich an diesen Tagen nur mehr Freizeit habe.
Könnte dies während einer arbeitslangen Woche erneut versuchen und vergleichen. Ich bin neugierig, ob das in der Hand hält.

I think the real effect is the quality of your sleep which might also be the reason why you sleep longer after more screen hours. Maybe Your body is struggling to get into the proper rem cycles so it takes your body longer to complete the same amount of rem cycles and that’s why you sleep longer as well.
I collected the data myself by manually tracking my screen time and sleep hours over one week. Screen time was taken from my phone’s built-in usage tracker (iOS), and sleep hours were estimated based on when I went to bed and woke up.
I created the visualization using Python with matplotlib and pandas.
Or is this just saying you have more screen time on the weekend, where you get more chance to sleep

This is why data is hard to communicate and parse, and shouldn’t be done by most people. Because you had shit sleep for 3-4 days and needed to recover from that, and are insisting that it’s due to screen time.
Your sample size of 1 person, for 1 week, with no control is why we can’t have nice things.
Gotta be careful drawing conclusions from this because there are many other variables that affect sleep duration. Confounding variables.
The data is limited to one week.

Rather than tracking screen time and sleep, you should be tracking specifically the time leading up to sleep, the device you are on and the type of activity.
Do this for at least 10 weeks, on all days, and divide between screentime before bed and screentime during the day, and you might think you have some useful information, however, you would need to do this for more like 100-200 weeks to draw any real conclusions.

Not enough data. Could have less sleep due to multiple reasons. Track for 1-3 months and get back to us with the results.
With the screen and sleep time so close to each other, why not putting tem on the same axis?
Are basic default gsheet charts now the bar for beautiful data?
I mean it’s fine, sorry to be harsh OP. I like the colour coded axes, but I also hate when people truncate axes.
I am not an expert on this field, but I think sleep quality is more important than sleep time. Maybe your body is trying to make up the quality by sleeping more.
