This is an emerging threat of a corporate-state surveillance regime disguised as healthcare reform, and argues that we’re sleepwalking into a future where illness becomes criminalized and dissent is medically flagged. If we don’t fight this now OR if we don’t demand decommodified public health and strict limits on biometric surveillance; we’re going to wake up in a future society where every heartbeat is just another data point sold to the highest bidder.

I would argue “not in a hospital gown” because that would imply actual medicine going on, more like “in a business suit” as with most things late stage capitalism.
