If we don’t put rules in place to remove people in power, then they’ll just laugh in our faces when caught in keep raking in the money and making decisions on people’s behalf.
Weird flex. She may be in violation of the Public Offices Election Act, but instead of getting in trouble, the Assembly has passed a resolution calling for her resignation and created a special investigative committee, which she has refused to attend. It sounds like they’re giving her a way to walk away from this. She needs to run away from this! If she stays, there’s probably going to be fines or suspension from public office. Even criminal charges and prosecution. Her entire campaign was based on integrity and reform. She’s a liar! She needs to jump on X and read the local message boards. People are rightfully pissed.
