Veterans and others who spend time around military have a really important job right now, and that is to express in crystal clear terms how disgraceful this is and how badly it diminishes the proud history of our armed forces. Even if that’s a stretch for you (and that’s understandable and totally fine), surely you can acknowledge that arresting and harassing people in our own country is a fucking disgrace, and anyone who participates is tarnishing their service record and forever tarnishing their organization. Active duty people need to know that “support the troops” doesn’t apply here, and they will receive criticism/ill judgment for the rest of their lives for participating in this stuff.
