Jail the fuckers and then keep making drones.
This is why democracies work better than dictatorships. Democracies can route out corruption, which is inefficiency. Corruption is the reason Russian soldiers don’t have proper body armor, despite the Russian government paying for it. That money ended up in pockets while the actual body armor soldiers ended up with was cheap, non ballistic steel plates that the soldiers didn’t even know was fake. And this is why the current US administration’s continuous attempts to deny reality or cover it up with propaganda is so concerning.
Corruption will always exist. Great they found it. Should be a very high penalty for it. Perhaps even treason.

Which company bribed these corrupted Ukrainian officials? The company and these officials needs to be punished.
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again.
Adopt a coalition democracy system, it ensures all the people get what they want and it easily counters corruption.
The only reason it isn’t adopted more widely in the world is because those in power want to keep the populace in the dark and hide behind „we shouldn’t change the old ways“.
The USA more than ever needs this too, seeing how the government treats the epstien files. Yes, the democrats have been covering them up as well.
A two party democracy system is a more corrupt and oligarchical form of democracy.
I think the bigger news here between the lines is that it seems the anti-corruption organozation was re-established post protests.
I feel like that should have been front page news.
This was going to happen and probably happened a lot more behind the scenes. Ukraine was the most corrupt country in Europe, and that didn’t change when they got invaded.
When this war is over, the one good thing is that Ukraine’s image will be well laundered.
