Your NASA link does not share your same grand discovery. If life was discovered, you will not be the one spreading the information, it will be everywhere.
We just don’t know what the surface or atmospheric chemistry is like for a planet orbiting close to a red dwarf star for billions of years. Dimethyl sulfide could have other sources than life.
And, life is not the same as intelligent life. We just don’t know how often space-faring species can develop from life. On Earth, multicellular life has existed for a billion years and nothing technologically advanced occurred until humans came along less than a million years ago.

Red Dwarf stars are not stable per se. They tend to flare, and as orbits in habitable zones tend to be only a few million km from the star, these flarings have the potential to sterilize most of the planet(s). Also likely this has a disastrous effect on the atmosphere. So, while likely a niche for life, stable conditions for higher land-dwelling life forms who might want to develop space flight seem unlikely.
There was a recent study that proclaimed that we should look more at K type stars, as like our own sun ate really stable.
