      America is currently building 2 nuclear reactors. China is building 27.

      Every 18 months, China adds an entire United States grid worth of generation capacity (coal/natural gas mainly).

      98% of global supply of LFP is made in China.

      Aren’t these numbers just crazy to imagine?! Check each one if you want. Energy cost is the #1 predictor of a societies future.

      Lithium is super cheap right now. No idea why countries with tons of sun aren’t just building massive solar farms with batteries. It’s fast and extremely cost-effective. Solar is around $1 million per MW, and utility-scale batteries are now as low as $100-300 per kWh depending on region.

      Nuclear, on the other hand, is the total opposite. It takes forever to build and costs a fortune. The Vogtle plant in the U.S. came in at over $30 billion for just 2.2 GW. Hinkley Point C in the UK is expected to hit around £40–50 billion. That’s $15–20 million per MW, compared to $1M or less for solar. And the electricity from nuclear ends up costing over $120/MWh in many Western countries, while solar is already around $30–60/MWh and still dropping.
