I hope the government has a backup plan, given they give less of a shit about Russia day by day.
Estonia already did that for cities in Finno-Ugric lands – their Wikipedia now has Ižkar instead of Iževsk, Saranoš instead of Saransk and Petroskoi instead of Petrozavodsk.

As an activist for the independence of Bashkortostan, I propose to call the capital of Bashkortostan not Ufa, but Öfö
What’s this Orenbor shit that I heard from the Kazakh nationalists as well? There was never a city with such a name, or any city there at all. The first settlement there was the Russian fortress of Orenburg, built in the mid-18th century on the river Or‘, hence the name. The Nogays, which held the area in the centuries prior – did not have cities, they were pastoral nomads.

Small dick energy. More like 3rd grader trying to argue
Да что опять случилось? Опять что-то неправильно обозвали? Финны с рождения называют мой Петербург „Санкт-Пиетересса“ и никто с этого здесь до сих пор шавухой не подавился.
