What’s the line on this to be fair?
Is this illegal or is this the charity regulator saying don’t be controversial?
I think offering support for a terror organisation and advocating violence is obviously beyond what is legal but much of what’s been highlighted here is well inside of that line.
I’m not a massive fan of the State telling religious organisations as to how they practice their beliefs or manifest their beliefs.
There should be genuine church state separation and that works in both directions.
Now this is how you deal with offensive cartoons, a stiffly worded statement.
What’s wrong about posting a cartoon about the media.
I hate titles like “places of worship” as it implies it may have something to do with Churches but from the first line:

Title should be “Mosques warned by regulator over inflammatory and divisive language”.
OP has just copied the .gov title so this is our government being wet-wipes.
This is going to be interesting. Places of worship are always divisive especially a certain religion who segregates men and women during worship.
What Annoys or worries me is these clips of preachers suggesting taking over the UK, imposing sharia law, killing Jews,Christians etc. Put them on a plane beck to their original country.
Ah, this has nothing to do with the Israeli lobby’s influence on us at all.
I wonder if it’s specifically excluding one religion or if it’s applied equally to all.
I can find links to Iman’s that are saying pretty inflammatory things! But we all know nothing will happen because we’re living in a two tear system….

Any of these „charities“ that tolerate the preaching of this kind of material should have their charitable status revoked. There is nothing charitable or beneficial to the public to be found in the hate-filled screed of some Islamist shrieking about „sharia law“, „blasphemy“ and whatever else they’re obsessed with.
