      So a massive budget deficit that kicks 14 million people off health insurance and will add trillions to our national debt and then laying of thousands of government employees who providing crucial services to the american people and spend their wages back into the american economy.

      Now piss away 200 mil on a vanity project that is so gaudy and tacky it belongs in a porno from 1970 or a mob boss’s mansion snorting cocaine.

      Piss away another few billion to renovate a jet from a foreign country that amounts to a bribe.

      Just a regular American here, still wondering how I’m going to cover rent next month – so it’s super comforting to hear the populist outsider is bulldozing part of the White House to slap up a 90,000-sq-ft gold ballroom.

      Don’t worry, though: the $200 million is coming from mystery “patriotic donors,” not my tax dollars – just the kind of folks who definitely expect zero favors in return. 🙃

      Meanwhile our bridges are crumbling, school lunch debt is north of a billion, and the VA is begging for funds, but sure – let’s gild the lawn so 650 insiders can waltz under crystal chandeliers.

      Nothing screams man of the people like turning the People’s House into Versailles-by-the-Potomac. Priorities, am I right?
