      Oh it’s because the movies weren’t good critically and financially.

      Let’s look at the numbers:

      Fantastic Four (2005)

      Budget: $87.5 – 100 Million

      Box Office Gross: $333.5 Million

      Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer

      Budget: $130 Million

      Box Office Gross: $301.9 Million

      That’s the answer – the sequel made less money than the first but it cost more. That combined with the lackluster reception is the reason why they rebooted.

      Bad movies that made no money. Sorry Ioan but I feel like this falls under common sense.

      Side note: It’s so weird seeing Chris Evans here not dressed as Captain America.

      Cause the first two were ass. Idk why we’re in this era now where people are pretending movies that were universally acknowledged to suck at the time
