Those famous pacific coasts of Yerevan-Beach and Gyumri-Marina, yes.
Hilarious.
I dont know why people care whether in terms of this app armenia is europe or not the ONLY DEFINITION that matters is european according to eu law which we are
Can’t say about Georgia but Azerbaijan spends resources to make sure they’re available either regionally or by language on most websites. I’ve come across many websites where I can find Azerbaijani as a language, while Armenian and Georgian are not present.
We could learn something here.
Azerbaijan has territory north of the Caucasus mountains and Armenia does not. The Caucasus mountains is the most commonly recognized boundary for the southeastern most point of Europe.
According to the United States, the border between Europe and Asia rests at the crest of the Greater Caucasus Mountain Range. A small part of Georgia and a small part of Azerbaijan are north of this, so they are considered bicontinental. Conversely, all of Armenia is south of the mountain range crest, so it’s exclusively Asian. Paypal just decided to put all bicontinental Eurasian countries that it serves in the European section.
I’m sorry, but what’s the problem with that? Armenia is in Asia. Azerbaijan has 3% territory in Europe so they’re in both Europe and Asia (here listed Europe for the sake of categorising).
Why do you have a problem with that? Is being considered more Asian (Armenia is geographically entirely in Asia) giving you an inferiority complex?
This is a standard torment on all sites, searching for Armenia in a random region.
