Yeah, they are supposedly spending like 1 trillion or so over 10 or 11 years which is about the same as they currently spend and your news centers are all trash.
It’s potentially even less than they currently spend considering their max spending is probably 150 billion per year recently.
The last time Russia spent under 100 billion on military was 2021 before the Ukraine war started.

Eleven years seems like a conservative estimate for how long it will take Russia to reconstitute its strength. They look pretty ragged right now, and none of their combat experience in Ukraine will matter against NATO air supremacy.
This is chest-pounding, Russia can’t afford that. People believing this are stuck in Soviet superpower days. Keep in mind its GDP is less than half of Germany.

After 3 years they havent even taken half of Ukraine with literally years to prepare and a far superior military (at least on paper). $1.1 trillion or not, not sure who they think they’d be fighting and actually winning against.

Inflation is going to cripple Russia. They are spending so much money on military while it runs rampant, and it’s not going back into the economy really, because it’s being blown up in Ukraine. Might as well just be giving money to the factories.
