The UN has criticized the TFW program as a ‚breeding ground‘ for contemporary forms of slavery. If someone is good enough to work here, they are good enough to live here.
The problem is some of these people are living in accommodations provided by their initial employer which leaves them ripe for exploitation and makes it more challenging to switch employers.
