      ”They” meaning American consumers.

The lying sack of s#it just keeps gaslighting.

His main sticking point is agri and dairy market otherwise India has opened up other sectors. US uses animal feed for its dairy industry, big chunk of Indians are vegetarian its just not possible.

      >India’s taxes on digital services

      This was removed already

      >They charge more tariffs than any other country

Not entirely accurate. Tariffs are 15% on EVs with 0% if they sell a certain amount of units and 0% on critical tech, 0-10% on pharma . These are the stuff US should export. Auto tariffs on ICE are there for everyone yet Hyundai, Suzuki, Kia, MG etc are doing great Its more due to American automakers inability to make small cars.

US has $90k per capita and one of the highest educated workforce on the world…why is it fighting for exports of fcuking textiles and assembly plants? Export higher end machinery and sophisticated goods which actually makes sense considering your productivity and wealth.

Still on with this bullshit. For those who don’t know, tariffs are not paid by the country whose goods they are placed on, its paid by the receiving party, i.e., us. American companies is have to pay them, and they pass that cost on via pricing increases to the rest of us.

      Oh, and fuck Donald Trump.

    5. I think it’s fucking hilarious that American was founded on the ideal of fuck your 2% tea tax… and here we are.

the gujjus will eat him alive bro he does not know what he’s getting into

    7. Even now he keeps saying „they“ even though everyone know the tariffs are paid by the american consumer.

Stabbing yourself by raising tariff that no one will want to deal with US BS.

    9. Correct me, if I’m wrong: it’s not India who’s going to pay 25%. It’s the US customer. It’s going to be interesting when the iPhone is release in September that is either manufactured in India or China. Maybe we’re going to see a serious amount of phones bought by Americans in Europe, like the other way round when it was initially launched.

    10. What will it take from trump for the world to officially recognize these tariffs as a crime?

    11. He inherently does not understand tariffs.

People importing pay the tariffs. People buying the product that was imported always pay more for the product because the importer isn’t going to take that loss.

Tariffs are use taxes and anyone who likes the way Trump is doing them doesn’t understand that they are a tool, not a policy.

Is he gonna do any damn thing other than playing tariff-tariff in his term?
