Midges. Little biting insects. Are/were they itchy?

Probably gnat bite. Totally harmless

Brother, you are attractive to the wrong kind of bugs.
It’s either mosquito bites, or black flies and they look fresh. Get some aloe vera salve and keep it moisturized

You might be allergic to some of the flowers or grass/moss on the mountain

Nothing to worry about, just insects

Looks like green circles to me :p
Probably gnats, or possibly „klegg“. There are not many mosquitos on the west coast. It happens, but quite rarely.

The small ones are bugbites, probably gnat. The larger, green, ones looks like they have been added using some sort of editing tool. No way to be sure, but I would ask if the picture had been tampered with.

Only real dangerous insects here in Norway are ticks, but they tend to be stuck on the skin after they bite. So if you see a little black dot in the red circle, remove it (use pliers) ASAP (within 24 hours). They can infect you with Lyme borreliosis, which is quite nasty if it gets to develop. Be aware of big red rings around the bite!
