Each candidate is starting with opening remarks (delivered in alphabetical order). Multiple separatists spoke before Poilievre, who, I believe, was the first to stand. He spoke about the EV mandate and „gun grab,“ while admitting he was from Calgary.
Cheers for both Critchley and (more cheers for) Poilievre and other comments. Not sure I’ve heard any booing, or at least not much of it.

Not sure how well this format works with 10 candidates, but it’s entertaining to see.
Poilievre looks pretty smug and keeps making funny faces during other peoples answers which isn’t the new leaf he needs to be turning. He’s also back to talking about globalists. He’ll still get his 80% though.
Chritchley doesn’t occupy a large enough constituency to get votes. I’d be surprised if she even gets 5%
The Liberal candidate is about as good as you can get for an area like this, he’ll get his 10-15%, but that’s about it
NDP candidate is too left wing, seems more fitting for a university area riding. Probably will get less than 1%.
The rest of the candidates are fringe and will get less than 1%. The one said Mulroney/Harper was too moderate which was funny.

Pierre is wearing a suit – and he bussed in supporters who loudly cheer. Sheilia gunn reid is all over the livestream chats pumping him up.
