    1. People always pick on the scientists even when they have nothing to do with this. Israel is a leader in cardiovascular and cancer research. Cutting that funding isn’t going to help starving babies in Gaza at all.

    2. Yeah. Let’s hurt ourselves even more by cooperating with palestinian scientists instead. How many Nobel prizes do they have?

If Israel continues to treat the Palestanians like sub humans this will not be the last thing that Israel is excluded from.

If the world knows that Israel has no intention of letting the Palestanians have a state in their own land and Israel intends to steal even more then sanctions designed to cripple the country will be imposed to change public opinion.

      The world is waking up.

Good. I hate to see research stifled but, if Israel wants to continue funding their scientists maybe they can do so out of their war coffers instead.

    5. This is one the tactics that the EU used against Britain when it immediately broke the Brexit deal it negotiated. It ended up being very effective and it appartently did real damage to research programs in UK. Even though the UK offered to try and match the funding, the researchers and universities were shut off from sharing data with other counterparts in Europe.

To those to say don’t politicise scientific research, don’t be naive, it is government funded research, it is already political.

    6. Good, it’s time to stop funding Israel when they are committing atrocities left and right
