Haruo Kitamura, Mitglied des House of Councilors der japanischen Konservativen Partei, verteidigte seine kontroversen Bemerkungen gegen Premierminister Shigeru Ishiba auf X (ehemals Twitter) am 29. If he thinks Ishiba is “a hideous and strange creature,” maybe he should take a closer look at the leader of his own party.
And this is why they don’t get votes. Japanese conservatives *in office and in practice*, **and not the sheer concept of conservatism in Asia itself**, are historically overwhelmingly angry, bitter, immature, hostile, cruel, and just in general such a one trick pony that they can’t seem to do anything but punch themselves into a brick wall of their own making
Even if they had a point about the future of Japan, it doesn’t matter anymore if those who seek to rip power from Ishiba both are filled full with blame-happy ego trips and too much negative emotional imbalance to make the impact they need to make for their citizens
These are the people who wouldn’t just do worse than Ishiba, they’d doom the country for future generations. All for excessive misplaced anger
Hehe. While Ishiba does resemble a certain Star Wars antagonist, it’s pretty lame and also rich coming from someone who looks like an elderly woman cosplaying as a businessman with a dye job.
What he actually said, according to the article, was that Ishiba is a 酷く奇妙な生き物. Ishiba might not be a prime KPop boy candidate, but let’s be honest, neither is the accuser. So I’m not sure what kind of slap fight this clown is trying to instigate.
