      President Donald Trump said Tuesday that he thinks Jeffrey Epstein poached Virginia Giuffre as a Mar-a-Lago employee.

      The president told reporters on Air Force One, in part, „People were taken out of the spa, hired by Epstein … I told him we don’t want you taking our people, whether it’s spa or not spa. He did it again, I said out of here.“

      A reporter asked a follow-up question, „Was one of the stolen people Virginia Giuffre?“

      Trump replied, „I think so. He stole her.“

      Some of the Trump defenses on reddit I’m seeing are insane. People, you are not obligated to defend Trump, you can let him be criticized and just do nothing. So many comments I have seen are the kind of things that are going to destroy people’s mental health in the future when they think back of their behavior and how shameful it is.

      Virgina Guiffre, who abruptly ‚committed suicide‘ a few months before this scandal got so hot.

      After previously posting to social media that she was not suicidal and if she were to die and it be ruled a suicide, people should know she was murdered.

      The point is, Trump was angry at Epstein in principle. And that principle was „He kept stealing my employees“. Trump’s principle WASN’T, „He and Maxwell co-opted teenaged girls who worked at Mar-a-Lago and sexually exploited and assaulted them.“

      Epstein interfered with Trump’s business and inconvenienced him. That–not the exploitation of teens–was his issue with Epstein. That was the „inappropriate“ behavior that so upset Trump.

      This implies that he knew what Epstein was doing, because there is no other context for Epstein to have „stolen“ her. And the fact that he seems to recall Giuffre clearly also says a lot, when he otherwise barely recalls people or remembers having named FED chiefs himself– this one young woman from about 20-30 years ago though, he remembers, a person who supposedly was just one of many employees.

      the more upsetting part, to me, is him claiming virginia guiffre had no complaints about them (him and epstein).

      📝 REMINDER: Virginia Giuffre, one of Jeffrey Epstein’s most prominent abuse survivors, was hit by a bus at the beginning of April 2025 and survived only to have *allegedly* died by suicide at *41 on 4/25/2025.* Giuffre ‚No Way‘ suicidal tweet resurfaced following her death by suicide. Her father at first accepted the alleged cause of death as suicide, but on May 1 said he thought that „somebody got to her“.
