This is that same idiot director that kept telling the actors to be happier with their mouths way open?

I get that the 11 reviews came from pre-screening but damn. We don’t want to wait til more people see it to make articles with clickbait titles? Not saying it’s gonna be a bad movie/overrated. I’m still planning on watching it. But an article written over 11 reviews is pretty funny.

I’m excited for this movie but 11 reviews – none of which are from top critics or major publications – means nothing. It’s just an excuse for WB to market the movie as having a “perfect score” even though it’s likely to immediately drop once more reviews roll out. Can’t wait for the inevitable “DAE Weapons was overrated??? Critics don’t know anything” threads.

What fucking movie doesn’t get a perfect score now.

I was extremely disappointed with Barbarian, especially after everyone raved that it’s insane and “go in blind!” Hoping this film is much better.

When have rotten tomatoes “critics” ever been right? I wait for the audience score

The upcoming „Sketch“ and „Together“ both have 99% and 100% right now with a significant amount of reviews and nobody is talking about that.

From what I’ve seen of the trailers it looks like it’s just going to end up being another zombie movie. Hopefully I’m wrong, but I’m not hyped at all about it rn.

The flaw with Rotten Tomatoes perfect score is that you can have a movie that is slightly better than okay but not great (as in every critic sort of likes it or at least thinks it’s decent but doesn’t think it’s amazing) and you get a 100% score. Meanwhile, you can have a great film that is a bit divisive, which is to say most critics love it but a few hate it, and that film has something like a 75% rating.

Rotten tomatoes, at least for me, doesn’t hold a lot of weight.
