i will undoubtedly get massively downvoted for this. but someone needs to really vet the veracity of the sex offender system, and how that works. i ain’t saying this particular case is not sketchy. who knows. i don’t. seems sketchy on the surface, for sure. but what’s equally as sketchy are folks who get caught up labelled as sex offenders for shit that ain’t really that bad, or maybe never even happened. those folks are tarred for life. do you think that ends well for society, having folks who are constantly on the receiving end of hate from dumb ppl? i don’t think that ends well for society at all. i think it breeds worse behaviour.

america itself is a living example of a broken criminal justice system that creates more problems than it solves, and does so under the lever of financial enrichment. that’s not worked out too well.

maybe we should revisit how we design our systems of rules. looks like we suck at this. where’s that rep on this issue? probably she wouldn’t touch it with a 10 foot pole. none of them ever do.
