They’re efficient, and the roads (and area around) were wide enough to build them there.
It’s a relatively new development and we put roundabouts everywhere we can
slows down the maniacs behind the wheels and also helps with the traffic flow. fellow ljubljančans, correct me if im wrong
It has all to do with traffic flow.
BTC is nearby and with ordinary crissroads there was a madness with such a large transit flow.
Also Letališka cesta is home of few factories and when they ended the shift at 14.00 there was a mess when all of them wanted to go out of the job at same time.
Big lorries/trucks coming from other industrial places didn’t help.
