These ultimatums are useless, Putin is going to continue to try to subjugate Ukraine unless he’s stopped by force.
The honeymoon is over, US will back Ukraine. There is no other choice.
Yeah Trumps a TACO bitch so who knows what he will do
I keep reading about how Russia will invade this country or that country, I read about how all of Europe needs to prepare for a war with Russia. This post from me is somewhat simplistic, but the war is now, if you will need the weapons in the future, the future is here already. Send the weapons, empty your arsenals fight with your arms on the front lines with Ukraine, stop holding back, Russia is at the boarder of all the countries of Europe.
We know how TACO will respond.
As a European citizen, I am not tired of this. We must support Ukraine in whatever comes for years.
Meanwhile Switzerland hosts russian politicians. But it is not EU, so no contradiction, I guess.
Either the EU ensures Russia loses this war, or the EU will lose credibility and fade into irrelevance. This is existential
Trump’s only reason for pushing for a peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia is he is trying to find a way to be the one credited for ending the war. He’s been jealous of Obama getting a Nobel, and desperately wants one to show that Obama is not better than him. He’ll likely want something named in his honor, a holiday in Ukraine, and gold statues of himself in Kyiv as „Trump the Greatest Peacemaker“
They tried very hard to push a similar narrative with the recent Iran/Israel exchange, tried to frame it in the history books as a famous „The Ten Day War“, declaring Trump created permanent peace between Iran/Israel, and the end of Iran’s nuclear program (which had only been resurrected because Trump broke the Iran nuclear peace agreement that Obama had formed with Iran, which was working)
