    1. Probably in the short term but that avoids a nightmare situation for now while the EU can start negotiating with other partners. Meanwhile the US is taking on a trade war with the whole world.

Also, nobody is going to buy US cars. They’re not made for our roads and gas prices.

France is probably pissed about the agreement to buy US military gear.

When you go through the pile of insecurities and military procrastination you will discover that the only answer is EU wide nuclear proliferation. With a leveled playing field, russia can’t muster more than the equivalent of a gas station of conventional forces.

Who is to blame for all of this? The EU. The U.S. is just taking advantage of the void of military strength.

As an American I agree. That is one this that really frustrates me about Europe and the EU as a whole. They are for some reason REALLY weak when it comes to foreign policy and something that I at least appreciate about the USA (pre-trump). The EU never wants to stand up to russia or china or get involved in any conflict or issue. They always kind of stay ambiguous and allow malicious nation to push them around. They SHOULD be a lot more tough on Trump, but instead allow Trump the bully them. If the EU wants to be the new world leaders, then they need to grow some balls. They need to get tougher and be willing to push their enemies around a bit.

Unfortunately, I am not fully sure that the EU would even come to Taiwans aid if Taiwan got invaded.

As an American I am really frustrated and puzzled by people on the left and the right who want America to stop be involved in other nations and conflicts. In fact, we should be more involved. We need to stand up for democracies and our allies. If we dont then that will create a power vacuum that will just be exploited by Russia, Iran, China, north Korea, etc.

For instance, it was the US who tried to push germany to refuse the russian pipeline deal under the obama admin. It was good that Biden got involved in Ukraine, and I would even make the arguement that we should have been more involved. Moreover, Obama should have done more to stop Russia from taking crimea.

It was good, at least in the beginning, that Biden helped Israel & it in directly screw Assad, Russia, as well as Iran and its proxies.

USAID was a great thing and I think we should spend double the amount on foreign aid to poor nations. We should also be more outspoken and involved in other global issues and affairs. That being said, I obviously think we meed to be much more careful who we sell weapons and arms to. Send weapons to nation like saudi arabia and arming random groups is not a good policy.

Maybe, the only good idea Trump has was pushing our Allies to pay their fair share when it comes to NATO and other programs. We cannot be the only nation helping the world. If the UK and EU was to be the new leaders of the world then they need to get used to spending some money on stuff like NATO, the UN, and foreign aid.

All in all isolationism is not good. Bernie and Trump , the far-left and far right are both two sides of the same coin. Isolationism and populism are two very destructive concepts that we must avoid.

Thank you for allowing me to rant. Good day to you.
