    1. Guess I live in other Finland then.

      Imo bigger problem is that some (often asian) cars don’t have headlights and rear lights on in dark or rain.

    2. Only half need to see it. The other half are temporarily blinded by the oncoming traffic.

      At least here in Varsinais-Suomi about 50% drive with lights off (drl in front, nothing at back) until it is propperly dark. And around 20% drive with fog lights on 24/7. Also the lowbeams on some new cars are so bright that they look like highbeams.

    4. Are you one of those people who think it’s not okay to use high beams on the motorway? You only need to turn them off when the road turns right for you and oncoming traffic is directly in front of you.

      Erm.. Good thing is that vilddjur have been scared away with main beam of oncoming traffic. Though it’s not main beam that makes drivers blind, but Scandinavian extraljus.
