I’m Thai and is living in Thailand. There are tons of Cambodian working here in Thailand and I see them every day. Before the begin of the dispute in may, I dare to say that over half of the Thai and Cambodian here wouldn’t be at each other throat like this. And now they all hate one another and for what.
This is infuriating. Thai civilians are dead. Cambodian civilians are scared for their life because of the military’s Air force response. People are getting more hateful and racist against each other all for some corrupted cunts to roam free

Obviously, a ceasefire enters into effect when they agreed on it, not when they talk about it. There is not going to be a ceasefire before they negociated it. This is non-news.
The propaganda on both sides is running overtime. Both countries have very susceptible populations that fall for these hit pieces against each other, which makes it incredibly easy for them to not see through the greedy folks in power on both sides.
Facebook was/is huge in these countries and it’s just reposting of random influencers talking smack about the other countries, fake news stories, and arguing about who started this.
It’s going to take a long time before both sides treat each other better, because the age of fake news social media is going to stoke the flames of hate for these people, for a long time.
