His paintings are perhaps some of the most profound I’ve ever seen.

His works are distributed around several Swiss art museums but my overall favourite painting is this one that can be seen in the art museum in Bern.

It’s called „The Disappointed Souls“ or „Der enttäuschte Seelen“.
