The idea of working for ICE is revolting to a non-racist. So…that only leaves one type of applicant.
Ya this is actually the thing im MOST worried about in our near future. Could go very bad.
The Republicans – the same party that is cutting funds for almost every other gov agency – somehow found an urgent need to grant $170 *billion* to ICE.
With that kind of money, their human trafficking operations won’t be limited to migrant workers. The rhetoric from the right is already calling for the arrest of political opponents.
Considering that Trump is now effectively going to get his own paramilitary force, my only response to that is a simple but emphatic, „No shit.“
Kids who can’t afford college or are too dumb to get in are going to be the Stormtroopers of this group, They won’t care what they do as long as they get the $ to pay for their dates with the ladies.

I’m currently looking for a job, and I scrolled through Glassdoor today, and there were *so* many job offerings by US Customs and Border Protection, it was wild. Mind you, I was looking for a job in a completely different field, and I still got flooded with them.
All of them paid between $65k – $150k, had incredible benefits, and some select ones had an extra $40k sign-on bonus.
And all you gotta do for this great, secure job position, is sell your soul.
I will never hire an applicant that has previous ICE experience on their resume.
They can work in the fields and wash dishes after this administration is finally banished and ICE downsized.

A) flood them with resumes
B) waste their time interviewing you
C) waste their resources training you just so you can quit or
D) be an absolute crap ICE officer and consistently send in anonymous tips about ICE activities to targeted ppl/communities
