Landesweit „Wut gegen den Regime“ -Protest für den 2. August geplant

We need a General Strike. We need to be harming commerce.

„with some demonstrators throwing objects at officers and authorities responding with tear gas and rubber bullets.“ Bullshit! Among other things, they were intentionally shooting reporters, not just defending themselves against whatever tiny number of morons might have tossed something.

These are good, nice to see people getting out, but I feel like the ante needs to be upped about now. If we can rally this many people for regular protests, surely we can do some more targeted action, like against particular companies, agencies, or groups.

We need to take some pages from the conservative strategy book by doing like mass calling campaigns to companies or even just like weekend boycotts of specific places. It’s tough to keep boycotts going long term, but some short campaigns should be possible. I’ve seen a lot of people pushing back against payment processors lately, for instance, by targeting the companies themselves after conservative activists lobbied the companies. Something similar should be done for companies giving in to Trump, like Paramount or universities like Columbia. These sort of campaigns are great too for occasions like this summer where it’s almost like dangerous to be outside here. There’s real momentum here which should be taken advantage of with gradual escalation. Trump is very unpopular, and we should be willing to organize now while he’s weak.

Was sad that 7/17 didn’t get more traction but a Thursday rally is hard for a lot of people. Hopefully media like MeidasTouch picks this one up and pushes it because I think they really brought a lot of people out to No Kings but didn’t really cover much of the Good Trouble stuff.

Tell me what did the “no kings” protests accomplish? The same as these will….jack shit. Peaceful protest is not the answer to this regime

Love to see people showing up, but protests cannot be scheduled for one day. They have to be ongoing until victory is had.
