Guy from Antalya here. Yesterday I happened to be in the middle of a bushfire while riding my motorbike. Both sides of the road were on fire for a stretch of roughly 20 meters. I passed through and didn’t feel the heat of fire or anything different other than the smoke. It was that hot.
That’s about 123 degrees Fahrenheit
This isn’t just a weather record it’s climate change screaming through a megaphone
A little early for the roasted turkey dinner

I live in central turkey winters are usually -15°C and summers used to have a high of 25°C. Now we are expecting a heat wave of around 40°C this is out of control
It was 35C with high humidity where I live and many people were hospitalized due to heatstroke. 50C is straight up hell.
The Human species are like those frogs being boiled slowly alive and not doing anything about it. We would rather just carry on instead of fixing the problems.
And on top, the Turkish vendor mess with you before giving you ice cream.
Turkey, Finland has had record temperatures.
