Has there ever been a conflict so hands of by the international community? Nobody wants to touch this one , but everyone wants to tell Isreal what to do. Its really weird to me .
Carney should invite Netanyahu to Ottawa to „discuss“ these matters, but then let the ICC Duterte him and carry out his outstanding arrest warrant immediately on arrival at the airport. Removing Netanyahu from the picture would immediately make resolving the issue easier for all sides.
We’ve seen this latest flare-up play out over the last 21 months, and all it has proven is how much the Netanyahu Government lies. Lying is like breathing to them, just second nature.
If any Israelis are reading this, I’d like them to know that Netanyahu’s lust to hold onto his office has not just dragged your country and the region into an ugly war, but it is also eroding the credibility of the Israeli state as a whole. If you want to sacrifice your entire country’s credibility and bring into question its right to exist all for one man’s lust for power, then you’re not doing your nation a favour.
The mass starvation, the months-long genocide, violence in the West Bank, the mass ethnic cleansing of Gaza and also of Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, along with the recent adoption of the motion to annexe West Bank by the Israeli Knesset are all not just crimes against humanity and violation of the international law, but they also swiftly turn the global opinion against Israel.
Remember: Israel never does anything wrong, never does war crimes or ethnic cleansing (even though they declare their intent to and there is clear evidence) it’s always HAMAS (condemn) or the UN. And if you think Israel ever did anything wrong or criticize them a bit it’s anti-semitic.
Israel bottle-necks the aid, then uses the bottle neck to massacre Palestinians with guns purchased from the west. Why would… checks notes… the UN do this to the Palestinians?
