I legit didn’t know you couldn’t pay resident tax….? Like why not just tie it to visa renewal? I thought it was anyway.
I love it when articles like this appear because for how many years did the govt turn a blind eye to the big eikawa chains (eg: NOVA) who used to get many of us foreigners to not pay into the medical system and pension system. Where was the govt when this was all happening??
They could just have money witheld every month like everywhere else and the problem would be solved.
