Good news. Supporting Ukraine is the only way. If they lose, we all lose.
It’s one thing to have the funding. The hard part is convincing TACO to allow the sale. And then crossing fingers in hope that he doesn’t block the delivery, just because ~~he’s a~~ he can.
Ukrainians are losing territory every day. How can you even think that they have a chance to win, if according to official statements they are not fulfilling their plan to recruit people?
Three batteries is only a couple hundred missiles. The US used up a fair amount of missiles protecting Israel and only about 600 are manufactured every year. There aren’t enough Patriots in existence to adequately protect Ukraine. On top of that they don’t seem very effective against many Russian missiles and they aren’t worth using on the thousands of drones and many glide bombs that Russia is sending every month. There isn’t much the US can do to stop Russia’s continued albeit slow push west outside of directly involving itself in the war.
