Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche met Thursday with Ghislaine Maxwell, the imprisoned former associate of financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, as part of a renewed Justice Department push for transparency in the high-profile case.
The Florida meeting, which Blanche had previously said he was working to arrange, comes amid mounting pressure from President Donald Trump’s supporters, who have criticized the administration for withholding further records related to the Epstein investigation.
„Ms. Maxwell answered every single question. She never stopped, she never invoked a privilege, she never declined to answer. She answered all the questions truthfully, honestly and to the best of her ability,“ said Maxwell’s attorney, David Oscar Markus, speaking to reporters outside the federal courthouse in Tallahassee.

If you look at the pattern of the last 10 years of Trump‘s life, it will be pretty easy to come to the conclusion that this is all going to work out very well for him and very poorly for the American people.

This is why the GOP house went out on early recess to buy time to work out the pardon details. Trump is once again going to get away with another crime.
Ghislaine wasn’t granted bail prior to her trial because she lied so effortlessly under oath previously.

It’s actually incredulous that the DOJ and Trump’s Private Attorney (Assistant DOJ) get to have a private meeting with her before testifying before the house and congress if it were to ever happen.

Given she was charged with perjury, he’s either naive or this is further proof that they can’t be trusted. If they were trustworthy, they’d be objective about it.

What a load of absolute BS. What’s with these media outlets that are suddenly trying to portray Trump’s DoJ as on a mission to reveal the truth instead of being complicit in covering it up?
The list will be only democrats visible, every other name will be redacted
They’re going to offer her a pardon in exchange for her claiming on the record that the orange turd was just friends with Epstein but was never involved in any of the sexual acts. Or at least she never actually witnessed it. I guarantee it.
A bunch of evidence will immediately come out clearly contradicting her testimony but the statement will be made and the administration will deny, deny, deny and will ride it out.
The MAGA base will eat it up because it’s what they want to hear and the mainstream media will give a platform to „both sides of the argument“ giving the administration’s denial added credibility. But that will be enough to cast a veil of doubt on the validity of her statements which will muddy the waters just enough for no one to actually gain any real traction.
Everyone will huff and puff and point fingers and stomp their feet and make baseless claims about how morally bankrupt the other side has become – and in a year, after the dust has settled, Ghislaine will scoot out the backdoor of the prison and off into the sunset.

Yeah, we’re not stupid. This is zero transparency. They could leave the room and say whatever they want. You MUST have a 3rd-party present, as well as full video, and even then who knows what was agreed upon before “the interview”.
If there isn’t audio and video evidence of her interview anything reported is false.
To have Trumps ex-lawyer conduct the interview is a conflict of interest and shouldn’t have been allowed.
The findings will be that trump didn’t do anything wrong. Maxwell will be pardoned and the victims, once again, are the ones who are denied justice.
