Derby is not a luxurious place, its extremely working class historically and has been poverty ridden since the factories left. Its in the valley in which my grandpa and others labeled „the asshole of connecticut“. I enjoy it there with all its flaws, theres a cool blue color italian/polish culture amongst the older folks(used to work there), but man, he may have actually killed himself if thats where he ended up after prior being a wealthy financier.
