    1. You mean to say that if we destroy the planet we can’t live on it?

      Craaaaaazzzzyyyy

No one is listening. We made an overly coddled, selfish world. We’re past the point of no return. That’s not doom and gloom, it’s the stark reality of the hardships coming our way. When the food and water shortages start in the ‘west’ *maybe* people might start paying attention then. Humans are ingenious, we’ll work it out. Not before we suffer greatly though.

The same climate change they are creating then blaming it on modern lifestyles? Its very clear the weather has been manipulated for the past year or two into extreme patterns we’ve never seen. Climate change doesn’t happen that fast. They are doing a multitude of things to create severe weather events

Long overdue, but OK. It’s a shame that the UN and other international bodoes were created with so little power, because we now face global threats where we could use a global governing body.

No one in power cares. There is no money to be made from fixing the planet. The human race is stupid.

Meanwhile, in the US, the Environmental Protection Agency just drafted a plan ending its ability to fight climate change.

Meanwhile in the US, we are performing out the “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil” monkeys.

Well, as long as big companies, data centers and factories keep quiet about their pollution and blame us for not driving their electric cars, the world can go to hell, unfortunately for them they live on the same planet.

    9. There will always be believers and non believers. I believe in climate change because I feel like I have witnessed these changes. Even if I did not believe in climate change the way I see it, if you fight climate change and it does not exist it does no harm to the environment, whereas, if you do not fight it and it does exist you are doing irreparable damage that everyone’s descendants will have to suffer from more and more as time goes on.

Glad we’ve come all the way from the 80’s to still publish these warnings.

    11. Don’t worry guys, here in the US we just threw out all the greenhouse guidelines, prepare for shit to just get worse but that’s already going to happen because we humans suck at looking more than five years into the future. I cannot believe how unbelievably screwed any child born today life is going to be.

    12. Interesting!

I vaguely recall this being reported before though…

Oh yeah, now I remember. I learned about it when I was in HIGH SCHOOL 35 YEARS AGO!

      ffs…

Unfortunately climate change will never be changed sociologically/politically. Humans are just fundamentally/biologically incapable of seeing consequences on such scale.

The only real hope is in a technological solution. Basically we will need technology to control climate and the biosphere before we kill ourselves.

That’s where most efforts should be directed.
