Billionaires shouldn’t exist.
No one person should have that much money. Nor do they need that much money.

It should be pretty self-evident that allowing individuals with the GDP of a small nation at their beck and call, without any accountability, would be bad.
They’ve left us with a shell of a democracy and the Supreme Court is about to make that shell even thinner. They should be taxed out of existence and the money used to finance the expenisve cleanup of Trump’s rampage.
The amount of propaganda and radical right-wing hate for Zohran Mamdani has been insane. He’s not even the mayor yet, only winning the democratic primary, and people are panicking like it’s the end of the world.
Really not a hard concept in a sane society.
These people are massively unwell, profoundly mentally disturbed, and doing clear and demonstrable harm to pretty much every human being in the nation and on the planet.
If you split $200 million of Jeff Bezos‘ wealth into fractions, you could give $1 million dollars each to 400,000 families. Enough for them to sock away, generate interest, and have to work very little to have a happy life for all four of them. That’s 1,600,000 people who could have INCREDIBLE lives.
And if you took $200 billion of Jeff Bezos‘ net worth away, he’d still have $39 billion dollars.
MOre than he can ever spend, ever in his entire life.
And he’s 1 out of hundreds of billionaires.
These people do not need to exist. They are hoarding wealth AND using that wealth to fuck over all of us. They stood front-row at the inauguration of a child-fucker President who they helped install, all because they wanted to squeeze him for a few extra nickels that they do not need and whoch will not benefit anyone.
They’re addicts, they’re deeply mentally diseased, and we must use the power of the federal government to ensure billionaires do not exist, period.
I’ve felt for years that Billionaires break the system. It’s playing the game with cheat codes, with ‚God mode‘ enabled. Billionaire the metaphorical dragons of our world with their treasure hoards locked away as they Lord over everything else and continue to needlessly pile more wealth on top. $999 million should hit a maximum wealth cap, congrats you’ve won, wealth beyond that is being redistributed to the betterment of all society, you still have 999 fucking million dollars to fuck off the rest of several life times with!

Its not so much the wealth they’ve accumulated that bothers me (however it does often pose ethical dilemmas) as much as the unelected power it gives a person. It has become far too easy to manipulate politicians and policy through funding. First and foremost, we’ve got to put an end to lobbyists.
