edit: oh yeah. here’s a starting point on the money thing. see, money is a one dimensional measurement. it can’t inherently measure multi-dimensional things. it just can’t. there’s no agreement on equivalence of goods to money that is repeatable and testable when dealing with exchange of things (that aren’t money). so claims otherwise are bullshit. so money inherently is inexact and capricious, at best. so you can’t actually apply common law to it. common law is antithetical to money. it’s beyond that. it’s not one dimensional. go find statute, for instance, that provides a way to give a fixed monetary value to land. doesn’t exist. can’t do it. if you have land, and you have it under common law, nobody can invent some monetary debt you have to pay to fulfill some obligation. sure some folks will try to convince you otherwise, and use their bullies to do it. but fundamentally it’s impossible. if you have the land under common law, whatever obligations you made to get that land must be equitable. they must be able to be determined in an equitable manner. money is not equitable. one dimensional things aren’t equitable. or equatable if that’s clearer to y’all. k. have fun with that one! defend your equity.
