fair enough for the libertarians to give it a shot considering how non libertarian this country is even with electoral reform I don’t think they would get votes

Libertarians are like house cats. They are convinced of their fierce independence while utterly dependent on a system they don’t appreciate or understand.

      John Spaulding.

      Nonsense.

A potential Prime Minister of Canada…. As opposed to a back bencher for life…. Is not a bad thing for Battle River. Huge upside potential and no risk.

PP will win in a landslide and finally there will be real opposition to Carney in Ottawa.

      Wait to see

Notice how the libertarian candidate is unnamed in the title? Burying a competitor to the Conservative party candidate is not an accident. This is done all the time. Headlines like “Opposition leader blasts Danielle Smith/Doug Fjord/Tim Houston” etc. are common. This maintains the name recognition of the Conservative while hiding non-Conservative candidates below the fold.

A minor edit of the first sentence gives us a more balanced headline:

“Michael Harris, Libertarian Party candidate in Battle River-Crowfoot, also calls out Pierre Poilievre.”
