No shock when we massively increased the demand while not increasing the supply. Brilliant for the rich who rent out property really shit for the rest of society.
Tougher conditions for landlords just pass through to tenants.

I live in the midlands, there’s not a huge amount of well paying work here yet for a basic shit flat with no parking in say Gainsborough, your looking at £800-1000pm. It’s the same all over midlands.
1000pm seems to be the basic cheaper but not slumming it price now.
Try 1 year. £1315 to £1500 for this year. £1200 the year before.
