Honestly, no one has caused more political trouble for his father than Hunter Biden. I understand and sympathize with his struggles with addiction, but his actions have created serious challenges for President Biden. Maybe it’s time for him to take a step back and stop drawing more attention.

Clooney was doing Joe a favor. I am not a Jake Tapper fan, but his book was revealing – the demeanor during the debate Biden had with Trump was Biden’s state of existence most of the time behind closed doors. He should have stuck with the heavily suggested possibility of being a one-term transitional President. He would not have been able to handle a 2nd term and may have lost even more drastically than Kamala
If Joe dropped out and we had time to test a new candidate and have proper primaries, perhaps we would have had a better chance at stopping the Trump regime

It’s his dad and of course he’s going to defend him. However, old politicians keep fucking up our country for not wanting to retire, relegate, and be mature enough to train their replacements. Everyone saw the debate, the decline, anyone capable would have moped the floor with Trump, Kamala did that with the one debate she had, and it was so bad for Trump, he refused to debate her again.
Respectfully, President Biden was already showing cognitive impairment at that time and Democrat megadonors had every right to be concerned with his electability and ability to lead.

A last minute rushed primary and pigeonholing the chosen candidate to run Biden’s campaign instead of starting off as their own separate candidate. It was a colossal blunder worse than RBG holding onto her seat instead of retiring during the Obama administration. Ego infests both parties.

He went on to suggest that Clooney’s op-ed only deepened divisions within the Democratic Party: “Why do you think that the Republicans have an advantage over us? Because they’re unified.”

This is all stupid, if Biden didn’t completely self destruct in his presidential debate none of this would have happened. The right wing media was going into overdrive prepping MAGA for a coherent „drugged up“ Biden to display competent debate performance despite their age attacks. Then he completely Mr. Magoo’d his way through it completely screwing the entire party with his abysmal performance.
